We work with local services to offer appointments for women who either can’t afford clothing, or who need extra support. Our appointments include a chat over coffee and cake, while our incredible facilitators collect all of the information that they need, before the personal shopping begins! They then select clothes, try them on and have a lot of fun gathering all that they need. We also provide brand new underwear, and toiletries to each woman, and sign post them to other support for things we don’t provide. Every woman is also offered free spaces on any of our wellbeing workshops and events. (Holistic care is never just about the physical.)

“The appointment that has stuck with me the most was our first Ukrainian appointment (a walk-in) a young girl and her grandmother who had just fled Ukraine and had nothing. Being able to help them there and then, and then bring them back for an appointment later, meant the world to them- quite literally changed their lives. I think about it often and will probably always remember it. ”
Each appointment costs us £60 from start to finish.
For £5/month you could provide hot drinks for 5 appointments each month
For £10/month you could provide new underwear and a hot drink for 1 appointment each month
For £20/month you could provide new underwear, toiletries and a hot drink for 1 appointment each month
For £30/month you could provide toiletries for 3 appointments each month
For £60/month you could provide 1 full appointment from start to finish each month
We know that finances are an ever changing thing in most peoples lives, and so whether you’re able to commit to £2 each month, or £120 each month, we can’t even begin to express how grateful we would be. It is such an honour that we get to change lives, to love and support the women in Ashford. It is a privilege. And you are invited to be part of that privilege too.
